I’ll always remember what the hotel owners did, and I won’t forgive their dishonesty or the false story they continue to stand by. They showed no compassion, care, or accountability despite the evidence, making an already painful situation worse. I had planned every wedding detail carefully and handled my dress with white gloves. The owner and cleaner moved it carelessly and put it in the garage without telling me. It was dirtied and damaged the day before the wedding, even though it had just been professionally cleaned the day before at Tintoreria Lavanderia El Sur in Sanlucar de Barrameda. The owner’s wife was upset and briefly asked if she could help, but her husband denied anything had happened, and they both kept denying it.

The staff were friendly and everything was really clean. Reception was noisy during the day, though it got very quiet after 11 pm. Still, it worked well for a short stay.

The location was fantastic, with everything close by, and my parents’ apartment was adapted for people with reduced mobility. We appreciated all the thoughtful touches and the clear care given to guests. Everything was perfect, so we’d happily come back. Ainara, who helped us, was lovely.

The apartment was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The service was outstanding, with complimentary water, soft drinks, cookies, gummy bears, milk, coffee, and hot chocolate. They’d also thought of personal care items, from shaving and oral hygiene kits to feminine hygiene supplies, shower caps, bathrobes, and slippers. These days that level of completeness is surprising, and they provided it without us having to ask. Breakfast at a nearby bar was included in the room price. We had coffee, toast with ham, and fresh orange juice, all delicious. When we checked out, they gave us a large bottle of water for the journey home. I’ll recommend the place to everyone and would definitely stay again if we return to Chiclana. Ten out of ten, no question.
