The location was incredible, close to the beach and the cami de cavalls, where you can head to other areas or start a hike. We also really liked the hotel’s attention to sustainability. Every hotel should follow this example. From check-in onwards, we felt welcome. Everyone was kind, accommodating, polite and professional, from the sports staff and reception to the bars, restaurants, cleaning and spa teams. They spoke any language fluently, which was impressive, and made sure we were having a good time without trying to upsell us. Special mention to Adrian at Artiem Sports, an amazing and very kind guide. It’s an ideal place to recover from a busy life, whether you’re relaxing at the beach or joining activities like yoga, a kayak tour or paddle boarding. We could easily have stayed another two weeks!

The food choice and variety over the four days we stayed was amazing. Our room had a panoramic view that photos really can’t do justice to, and there are some lovely walks right on the doorstep. The location was fantastic, the food excellent, and all the staff were brilliant. Really faultless, and highly recommended.

The main problem was the air con. There’s a thermostat in the room that gives the impression you can control the temperature, but the hotel seems to use an older central system, so the room doesn’t fully reach the setting. It was often 24.5 degrees Celsius/76 degrees Fahrenheit. Unfortunately, staff couldn’t do much about the cooling. This was in late May, and I can’t imagine how peak humid summer would feel without proper AC. The hotel itself was quiet and clean, with really kind staff. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to Cala Galdana Beach, and there are plenty of shops, restaurants and grocery stores nearby.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and we had the best trip. Everything we needed was within walking distance. We tried the spa and gym and were really impressed with both. Hiring bikes was seamless too. I can’t recommend it enough.

We stayed just one night at Artiem Audax in Menorca, and it was great value for the price. Our cozy room had a lovely view of both the pool and the sea, and the restaurant food was amazing. Service throughout the hotel was excellent. It’s in a small, charming Menorca town, with several great beaches and scenic hiking trails nearby. A good fit if you want a relaxing stay that still lets you get out and enjoy nature.
