Bungalows Ses Malvas

A pleasant, quiet place to spend a holiday on the beautiful island of Menorca.

We could walk to the nearby beaches, and the residential area was quiet with easy parking. The bungalow itself needed upkeep: two kitchen burners wouldn't light, and although we were told maintenance would check them, nobody came. For what we paid, it was acceptable since we mainly needed somewhere to sleep and shower, but it could be much better. Privacy was the bigger issue. The four bungalows sit side by side, and you can hear everything between them. We tried to keep our voices low when having a drink outside at night, though the neighbors next door didn't seem as considerate. They moved furniture around at 2 a.m. and kept us awake.

Simple and very clean, and pets are welcome. The bungalow is quiet and close enough to walk to the beaches. Street parking was easy.

The location and price were good, but the place was dirty when we arrived. There was debris in the toilet, and the curtains smelled awful. With so many mosquitoes around, not having mosquito nets made it hard to sleep. You could even see squashed mosquitoes on the walls.
