The restaurant at Hotel Betriu in Lleida, Spain was clean and well maintained, but the food and service were disappointing. Staff were polite, though they weren't especially attentive, and our meals took a long time even with the restaurant not busy. There wasn't much choice on the menu, and the options didn't feel very exciting. The location is convenient, near the city center and public transportation. It could suit someone after a budget-friendly meal, as long as they're expecting basic food and service.

The food was decent, but the bathroom was dirty. Then at checkout came a nasty surprise: the room was charged at far more than the price shown on the site. I won't be back.

A lovely, comfortable old hotel in a lovely region, with a small pool and a fantastic restaurant. The owners go out of their way to accommodate you. Highly recommend.

Fine for a night, with functional rooms and okay bathrooms. I wouldn't stay longer than 2 days, but it's a good base for hiking and climbing nearby. The road right outside makes it a bit noisy, so bring earplugs if you usually sleep with the windows open.

The staff and owner were both very friendly, and the food was good. We could park our motorbikes inside the garage. The road in front of the hotel is busy and noisy, but the pool, seats, and daybeds in the backyard make for a much quieter spot.
