Hotel Solatorre

The parking area was good, the staff were nice, and it's an easy walk into the center of Comillas. Unfortunately, rain came through a crack in the ceiling and dripped onto our beds at night. The walls were also thin enough that we could hear a little noise from people walking and talking outside. Still, it was good value for what we paid.

Although the location was convenient and the room clean, I can't recommend this hotel. We could hear everything from the neighboring rooms because the soundproofing was poor. The bigger issue for me was the staff's attitude, which was truly deplorable and showed very little respect. I understand it was a busy period because of the local festivities, but that doesn't excuse how we were treated.

It's alright, and good value for money. Conveniently placed at the exit from Comillas if you're doing ElCamino. There were a few minor annoyances, like mosquitoes and that sort of thing.

The hotel is in a perfect spot, just a lovely ten-minute walk to downtown. The people working there, though, were very unpleasant.
