It’s a lovely Spanish town, well away from the main tourist spots, with amazing views from the mountains down to the sea and friendly townsfolk. Getting around on foot can be steep in places, and if you’re not a confident driver, a transfer may be the better option. The place we stayed was great, so have a look at their website.

The mountain view is incredible, and my kids were in awe of the pools and jacuzzi. The place looks stunning, with every little detail considered and a lovely blend of modern touches and authenticity.

Rafa gave us a warm welcome and even offered us drinks because the supermarket had already closed. The pool was lovely, very clean, and a little chilly.
