We stayed for a week and wished we could have made it longer. The house is wonderfully secluded, yet Cangas de Onis is only a ten-minute drive away. Jaime looked after everything we needed while still giving us space. Each room has a double bed and its own bathroom, and the garden and views are beautiful. You can see the scenery from every room. Inside and out, this lovely Asturian house has so many thoughtful details and personal touches.
We came back for a second visit this year, and it was just as peaceful and beautiful as we remembered. The homemade breakfasts are lovely, and the owner and his family make you feel at home. There’s plenty to do nearby, along with some nice restaurants, but it’s also a perfect spot to unwind for a short break or longer stay. The views are breathtaking, the rooms are comfortable, and you can feel the love and care that’s gone into the place. We’ll be back!
We only stayed a short time, but it felt like the perfect place to recharge. Jaime went out of his way to accommodate our requests, and I’d definitely book breakfast and dinner. Heredad has the character of an old, creaky house, with antiques, personality, and modern conveniences. It’s wonderfully set among nature and picturesque views. This is a destination boutique B&B, not a fit for anyone after city noise, an urban setting, or a modern, sterile hotel with large rooms and minimalist decor. If you’d rather be surrounded by nature and be pampered, you’ll love it.
The homemade breakfast was delicious, and the owner was really friendly, with great suggestions for places to visit and things to do around Llenin. Heredad de la cueste sits quietly on a hill, with an amazing view of the Picos de Europa. Our room was quiet and nicely decorated, and the house felt authentic. Shops and restaurants in Cangas de Onis are about a 15-minute drive away, while Covadonga is around 20 minutes. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the Picos de Europa area.
Jaime was a really friendly host and happy to help with anything, from planning our day trips to making dinner. The house is on a hill with astonishing views of the Picos de Europa, and everything was clean and tidy.
