Can Japet is a lovely place to slow down, tucked among the hills in the north-west of Spain. We had a great time cooking with herbs and vegetables from the garden, sometimes alongside the host Joseph. We visited a few years ago, and I see they’ve since added a pool, which should make the stay feel complete.

The owner was cheerful and the service was great. A fantastic spot for a long weekend away, highly recommended.

Such a pretty spot, and they gave us a lovely welcome. Dogs are welcome too, though there are plenty of cats for them to chase.

The pool was a real highlight, and the ping-pong table kept everyone laughing for hours. We also found the house spacious, welcoming, and very well stocked with kitchenware, which made family time comfortable. Getting there and exploring were easy thanks to the location. There are lovely landscapes nearby and plenty of good walking and hiking routes. We had a fantastic family weekend and would happily recommend it for a family break.

A great place to unplug, surrounded by nature. The welcome was so thoughtful, and the house is beautifully equipped with lots of little details. Hard to beat.
