Apartaments Chenin Blanc-Priorat-

We came for two weeks of climbing, and the location made that easy. Margalef was about a 40-minute drive, with less busy, shadier walls and plenty of routes over 30 meters, alongside the steep pocket climbs around 12 meters. Cornudella de Montsant had a couple of fun local bars, high-end restaurants, and Gomma, the climbers' shop with a bar and pizza and burgers. The bakery, supermarket, fruit and vegetable shops, and butcher were all around the corner, with good food and wine choices in most of them. The trip was excellent, though very warm. The bright, airy front room and quaint terrace really made it for us. The merlot apartment is on the second floor. The stairs get steeper beyond apartment 1, and the turn just past apartment 2 (merlot) is a sharp left at the same steep angle. Luciana was quick to respond and helpful. I hope she can get a few small repairs done for future renters. The bathroom was clean and working otherwise, and the shower wand worked, but the rain head was broken, so water ran over the top or sprayed past the shower doors. The doors are off their tracks; removing the top rail and reinstalling it about an inch higher seems like a simple fix. The kitchen is nice, but needs a lidded pot suitable for rice or pasta for two. The huge pasta pot is far too big, and the main frying pan is worn out. The fridge is too small, especially when there's room for a medium-sized one. I'd upgrade it to at least a small full-size fridge with a separate freezer above, and replace the pots and pans. People using Airbnb often cook to save money and enjoy hanging out over a meal. The bathroom could use some attention, and the kitchen would go from my three stars to five with those fixes. The units seem to get plenty of rentals, so there should be funds for these modest repairs.
