The homemade breakfast was a real treat, especially the shortbread, which I love. My husband and I spent three nights here in February, and the cosy place made us feel right at home. Stuart and Annette were so friendly. It was one of our best experiences in Spain. I’ve worked in tourism, so I know how hard it is to run a place like this, and I can’t recommend theirs enough. We’ll be back. See you soon, Mina & Andrew.

Annette’s homemade bread and jam from local fruit made breakfast second to none. The rooms were comfortable, the WiFi was great, and our hosts were friendly and full of helpful advice. We parked about 100 metres away because the roads are so narrow. The house is beside the central square, with a couple of bars and restaurants nearby. We stopped here to visit Aracena and the surrounding area, and loved staying in this peaceful little village in such a beautiful setting. A super experience.

Casa Annette was a highlight of our trip. My wife and I stayed for three days in February, and it was cosy, clean and comfortable, with good WiFi. Breakfast, value, the village and especially the hosts were all great. It’s an ideal base for exploring the Sierras. We’ll be back, and I can’t recommend it enough.

A lovely host gives you the essential information about the village and other useful tips, and the breakfast is heavenly, with nearly everything locally grown or homemade. This little hostel is in a magical spot, about 20 minutes from Aracena. It’s a perfect base for visiting Gruta de las Maravillas and the Aracena's castle.
