The owner wanted us out by 10 in the morning, even though checkout is usually between 11 and 12. We were also left with no solution when we tried to sort out a booking misunderstanding. We were simply told to pay. We stayed as a family and found dust, marks on the sheets, and spiders and cobwebs in the bathroom, along with a general sense that the apartment was dirty. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

We were comfortable here, and the owner was friendly and attentive. The beds were great, and the apartment was spotless throughout. It’s in the middle of Sierra de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas, which worked really well for the Tranco and Borosa routes. The apartment is brand new and has air conditioning, a TV, kitchenware, a washing machine, and cleaning products. Just note the supplies are sparse: one toilet roll, hand soap, and a trash bag. An oven would’ve been nice, but otherwise it’s equipped well. We’d definitely stay here again if we return to Cazorla.

The location is ideal, and we had a very good stay. The apartment is charming and clean, and the beds are comfortable. There’s very little provided for everyday use. A bedside lamp, dishcloths, a scrubber, dish soap, a tablecloth, garbage bags, toilet paper, and kitchen napkins would all make a real difference. The bedrooms stayed comfortable, but the heating didn’t do much for the living room, so we felt a bit cold there. The landlord did bring us a space heater. The bigger hassle was the weak electrical supply. We couldn’t use more than one appliance at once, and the hob and heater together would trip the breaker. It happened constantly.

The departure was awkward. They’d said we could stay another day if we wanted, and we said no, just that we’d leave after lunch. Then around 11:00 AM on the day we were leaving, they called to say we had to vacate. The landlord came in while we were packing, cleaning, and collecting sheets and towels for the laundry. He said he was in a hurry because new tenants were arriving, which didn’t make much sense after the offer to stay longer. We packed up and left. The apartment itself was new and clean, in a fantastic location, and the beds were very comfortable. But supplies were meager: one toilet roll for four people, one garbage bag for four days, and no shower gel or towels. We had to buy quite a few things. The heating wasn’t working well, so it was a bit cold, especially in the living area. The landlord brought a space heater. Using the ceramic hob and heating together tripped the breaker, and plugging in more than two appliances caused the same problem. We had frequent power cuts.
