The wine with dinner was very good, and the food and rooms were great too. The staff were helpful, and communication before arrival was excellent. We only wish we’d had enough time to take a tour of the Bodega next door.

We slept really well, even during the heatwave, thanks to air conditioning throughout the place. There’s also a chilled water dispenser in the games room, which was useful for refilling our bottles. In the morning the windows were open, and we woke to birdsong and a lovely Spanish breeze. Breakfast was outstanding. We had the continental option, though cooked breakfast was available, and the coffee was delicious. Ines made us feel at home as soon as we arrived, and kept in touch so we could arrange a meal. Parking is behind the house. The rooms are beautifully presented, with a games room and library upstairs near some bedrooms, plus a lovely outdoor sitting area and beautifully kept grounds. It was peaceful both at the property and around the village. Before dinner we went to the local bar, which looks like somebody’s home from the outside. The bar girl brought us beer and complimentary crisps, and it was lovely to take in the village atmosphere while people played cards. Back at the hotel, Laura had dinner ready and let us choose from the menu. The home-cooked food was lovely, especially the crème caramel. Laura was an absolute gem. Clean, comfortable, and so tranquil, we can’t praise the place enough.

I work remotely, so a fast, dependable internet connection mattered, and it was blazing fast. The breakfast was amazing too, and the service was really friendly. I’d definitely recommend it.

We had a lovely stay in the Spanish countryside. The property is beautiful, the staff made us feel welcome, and the food was delicious.
