Watch out. I stayed at Apartamentos San Juan in Cudillero on September 4th and 5th, 2014. The advertised rate was €50 per apartment for two people. I was traveling alone but was still charged €50 per night, €100 for the two nights. At that price, the cleanliness, kitchenware, and furnishings were all inadequate. Hotel Infanta Mercedes, a 4-star hotel in central Madrid, charges the same and includes breakfast. Outrageous! When I asked for an invoice, I was given an unsigned receipt from a booklet.

There’s a restaurant just steps away with good value for money. Don’t miss the tripe and octopus, among other delicacies, both are exquisite. The tourist apartments are central and well equipped, and the price matches the service.

The rooms were spotless, and it’s a special place to spend a lovely few days in this incomparable town. The staff are friendly, the service is excellent, and the location is practically next to the port and the Cudillero leisure center.

The food in their bar is 100% recommended :) The apartments are great value for money and make a good base for a few days visiting Cudillero and exploring Asturias.

The bathroom is tiny, and the old sofa is uncomfortable. The view looks onto other apartments. The place was very dirty and badly located, with poor upkeep and old furniture. The kitchen was greasy and had very few utensils, some of them broken.
