We let Chef and owner Jairo choose what to serve, then shared it among our group of 11 at this amazing one-Michelin-star restaurant. The vegetable salad, Merluza, pote with.calamares and manitas de cerdo were incredible, along with the other dishes and dessert. Jairo is a superb chef and person. Thanks so much for a unique experience.

The bread was the best I've had in a while, and the rest of the food was wonderful too. Everything felt light and natural, with a great atmosphere and such friendly people. Thanks for your kind hearth. Greetings from a peregrino.

Jairo is Mr Hospitality, and the food and wine are superb. Local ingredients, served with real care and love. Asturias at its best.

We only booked one night at Cabo Vidio, which was my one regret. The meal was superb, with fresh local ingredients cooked carefully and skillfully. The owner guided us through the menu in very good English, having lived in the UK for some years. The portions were generous, the dishes delicious, and the local wine he recommended was fabulous. Friendly service and a lovely atmosphere, and the meal cost more than reasonably priced for that quality. Breakfast was simpler but still good: fresh bread, tomatoes, delicious cake and plenty of hot coffee. The hotel is charming and restful, tastefully decorated with a beautiful wooden staircase and cool pictures by local artists. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a good shower. The owner was friendly and accommodating even though we arrived late at night in mid August without a reservation. We'd love to come back and stay longer, so we can spend more time with the menu and wine list.

Jairo is very professional, speaks fluent English after living and working in London for several years, and is an excellent chef. The wine list is good, and he pays close attention to food allergies and intolerances. It's not cheap!
