Beatriz, the owner, is delightful and clearly puts thought into every detail for her guests. She's always looking for things to improve, too. The house itself is beautiful and tastefully decorated, with everything you need for a few days, even toys for children. If we come back to Cudillero, we'll definitely try to stay at La Melosa again.

Cudillero is a lovely port town, and there's so much to see nearby. We spent six days here as a family, taking a break after a busy season. Beatriz was incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to lend a hand. The house was bright and comfortable, with children's games, a bathtub in the bedroom for a relaxing soak, and a wood-burning stove that made reading by the fire especially nice.

Beatriz made a big difference to our five-day stay at La Melosa last year. She was always happy to suggest places to visit, restaurants, and beaches, and clearly wanted us to enjoy Asturias as much as she does. The house itself was the best private home I've stayed in: spacious, cozy, and beautiful, with countless decorative touches and useful things for guests. Cudillero is one of Spain's most beautiful towns, and this was a great base for exploring the area.

The house is cozy and tucked up on the edge of the village, which keeps it peaceful while leaving restaurants and the port easy to reach. Our host did everything she could to make the stay comfortable and relaxing. Everything was perfect. I'd recommend it 100% if you don't mind tackling Cudillero's steep hills. Beatriz stayed attentive from afar, sending suggestions for places and routes to explore. Getting there by car wasn't completely straightforward, but the explanatory video she sent made arrival very easy. We had a fantastic four days in the cottage. The house is incredible, beautifully decorated, and practical, and the scenery around Cudillero is exceptional, with breathtaking views from both the hilltop and the pier. It's so lovely that I'll recommend it to family and friends.
