We were there in August 2024 and had a great stay. The place was comfortable and handy for restaurants and things to see in Cuenca. Would happily stay again, thanks!

We found the loft in a dirty, poorly kept old building, and the apartment itself felt cramped and tiny. There was no closet at all, and a beam over the shower made it awkward to get in. The bathroom heater barely worked; the bedroom one gave decent heat but was hard to program and had no instructions. We also found a pretty dirty coffee maker and didn't want to use it. The booking process was a problem too. I reserved through the CuencaLoft website, but the confirmation email didn't say which apartment we'd booked. Only the day before arrival, when cancellations could no longer be refunded, did they send the loft's name. It wasn't the one I'd booked, and they offered no solution. The price was low, but for that amount or a little more, there are better places to stay.

We're from the Valencia area affected by the DANA storm. We booked without cancellation, but I feel the company managing the property should have shown more understanding given the situation. Poor management. Thanks for being heartless and leaving us stranded.

We weren't asking for our money back. After booking a non-refundable stay more than a month ago, we were hit by the DANA storm and asked to change the dates. They said no, pointing out that the booking was non-refundable. I wish we weren't in this situation or going through all of this. Being stuck at home wasn't our choice, and we were only asking for a little empathy.

The agency managing the apartment was easy to reach on WhatsApp. When we arrived, they sent a full list of places to visit and eat, along with a cultural agenda. The apartment is near the pedestrian shopping street Carretería and an area with taquerias. Restaurants line Colón Street, including Trivio, which has one Michelin star and appeared on MasterChef. Inside, it's fairly new and cozy, with two bedrooms, one double and one with bunk beds, a well-equipped kitchen with a ceramic stove, and Wi-Fi. It has central heating controlled by the apartment community, and we stayed warm even during the coldest spell. A very suitable place to spend a few days in Cuenca.
