We spent three nights here in July and really loved the chance to slow down in such beautiful countryside. The hosts were warm, friendly, and happy to help. Breakfast and dinner had plenty of choices, and we especially enjoyed the natural cider they make. We even took a case home and are still enjoying it. We’d happily recommend a stay and plan to return.

Go after 9pm, and this Sidreria is well worth a visit. The setting has loads of character, tucked into a pretty valley close to the sea. The food is simple, rustic stuff, but incredibly tasty: you get the steak portion they serve, with seasonal salad from the market. And watching the local cider being poured is part of the fun. It feels just as authentic as you’d hope.

A quiet green setting full of fruit trees and wildlife, with cozy, nice rooms. We felt the whole crew were like family, and Alazne was especially kind. The local food is a must to try and enjoy. Driving in can be tricky for beginners, but the location is close to Zumaya, Zarautz, Getaria, and Donostia, and Bilbao is under an hour away via the AP8 toll motorway. If you’re after city shops and malls, this isn’t the place. For peace, it’s a unique experience.

The rooms were comfortable and the setting was just right. The food and cider were delicious, but it was the hosts’ friendly welcome that made the stay feel special. Highly recommended.
