Pau & Rosanna were especially kind to us, and all the staff were lovely and tried their best to help. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, and the liquor for sale was unusual and really tasty. The rooms and hotel were very clean, with lovely character in the ceilings and an amazing eco-chic feel. The pool looked great and relaxing, and the grounds around the events space were lovely. The Easter decorations were super cute too. Great value for the money and a good location. A few things could have been better. The events space is arguably the prettiest part of the hotel, and it would be nice if guests could access it. We don’t really speak Spanish, and with so many tours to choose from, help with bookings would’ve been useful. When I asked for food recommendations, I was told, “this is a small town, there’s nothing,” which isn’t really true. Booking.com made late check-in seem impossible, so I was stressed before arriving, but when we got there the hotel was wide awake. At checkout we were in a rush, and the guests ahead of us kept chatting about Formentara while someone else waited behind me. The receptionist could’ve moved things along, but instead kept the conversation going. The pool would’ve been better heated. Both nights, guests talked loudly and inconsiderately in the corridor at 2300 or later, making it hard to sleep. The rooms are quite bijoux and looked bigger in the photos. There was nowhere to hang wet clothes, no view or balcony, and no hooks to keep the window shutters open. The amenities were good, but the lotion dried very sticky when I applied it, and the Kimberley Clark dispensers looked cheap and didn’t match the nice decor. There was also a baby shower during our stay, and party guests filled both car parks. We had to park on the street and carry our luggage a long way to load the car the next morning. It’d be fairer if party guests used just one car park instead of taking over and inconveniencing hotel guests.

We keep coming back to Delta Hotel with birding groups, and have done so for more than 20 years. Whenever we’re planning time in the Ebro Delta, we try to stay here. It’s deservedly become popular, so for a weekend you generally need to book well ahead. The hotel grounds are the best part for birders like us. Over the years, I’ve seen far too many birds around the grounds to list, both with our own Birding In Spain groups and other tour companies. Just a few: Little Bittern, Common Kingfisher, Night Heron, Squacco Heron, Penduline Tit, Long-eared Owl, Scops Owl, Audouin's Gull, Glossy Ibis, Wood Warbler and Western Bonelli's Warbler. The rest of the hotel has plenty going for it too: helpful, efficient and friendly staff in reception and the bar/restaurant, good food and drink, a fantastic buffet breakfast, and a pleasant lounge and dining area. The rooms are probably its weakest point and could use some modernising, although they’re clean, have air conditioning and a very comfortable bed with more pillows than you need. If you’re travelling with kids and get the family room, they’ll love the stairs up to their bed on the “upper floor”!

We had a wonderful time here. It’s a very nice hotel in Deltebre, with welcoming staff and free parking. We only had a few drinks at the bar, but the restaurant was busy and the dishes coming out looked really appetizing. The rooms were comfortable, though the extra beds were in a little loft inside the room, which wouldn’t suit someone who isn’t so thin.

Recently refurbished, and really good value for the price. The hotel has a lovely pool and a beautiful park. The restaurant is very good, though a little expensive. Guests can get a menu for 18 euros, with two courses, dessert and water. They’ve got some very good wines too.

The food was excellent and never disappointed, and most of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable too. I did find it odd that the bathroom had no lock, and one security guard was so rude to us that we didn’t feel welcome at all. Still, I’d recommend this place for the good food, comfortable rooms and the many nice staff.
