Hotel Daniya Denia

I'm back for a second visit with Healthcare Abroad, and the hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff are really friendly and accommodating, and the food is magnificent. I'd highly recommend Daniya Dénia to everyone.

I had to leave the day spa with shampoo still in my hair. Every women's shower was scalding hot, and there was no way to adjust the temperature. Besides being a huge inconvenience, that could be dangerous for children and vulnerable adults. I reported it to staff after getting out, but they seemed uninterested, leaving me standing in a towel without knowing what was going on. I went to find another staff member, who also seemed unapologetic and uninterested, and suggested I wait around in my towel for half an hour until it was fixed. I got dressed and left with soapy hair. Very poor customer service.

We were offered a choice of three rooms at this great hotel. The staff were relaxed but efficient, and there's secure, well equipped bike storage.

The staff were the highlight, always smiling, polite, fun, and very helpful. The pool and terrace were another real plus, and breakfast had loads of choice and was first class. It's only a few minutes' walk into town and two minutes to the beach. The hotel is clean, with spacious rooms, terraces, and everything you could need. A few things in the rooms could use some attention, especially the sticky bathroom barn door, which was the most annoying part. Still, that didn't take away from a very positive stay.
