Guest House La Fonda

Once we got through check-in, this was a lovely place to stay in a beautiful, typical Spanish pueblo ❤️. The check-in itself was tedious: only a passport was accepted for ID, and a signature was required. Still, it was perfect.

The only real problem was the cooling unit, or whatever motor it was, which made a lot of noise whenever it kicked in and sometimes kept me from sleeping. Apart from that, the room was clean and recently renovated, with a comfortable bed and very friendly staff. There’s also a café downstairs with pastries and ice cream, and the service there was quick and pleasant. The accommodation was perfectly adequate for what it was.

We’d definitely come back. The rooms are very good, with lovely wood decor, and everything was clean. The service was excellent and having parking on site was a real plus. A great spot for anyone wanting to explore the scenery and go hiking.

The room felt really cozy, and the reception staff were excellent. A lovely blonde woman helped us out. Reception is in the café, where we had breakfast the next morning, and the staff there were just as helpful. The town square is only a five-minute walk away.
