We stopped for one night in September on our campervan trip back to the UK. The site is tucked away and there are lovely dog walks nearby, though not much else close by. Our pitch was fine, the showers and other facilities were very good, and we slept really well. A reasonably priced place for an overnight stop, about 30 minutes from the Zaragoza/Pamplona motorways.

The receptionist was kind and helpful, and the toilet and shower block was clean and good. That earns the two stars. The pitches were bare dirt over stones, with loads of sharp stones, beer bottle tops and pine cone bits, which didn't feel safe around our tent and air mattresses, especially for the price. It was cramped even though the site wasn't busy. There was also a permanent caravan in the small tent area with a TV blaring until 1:30 am. That kind of noise spoils the stay, and he should have been moved off the site. A walk by the lake was disappointing too, with huge amounts of rubbish dumped there. Very disappointed. Unless you're British, you might not understand how bad that is.

We couldn't get a clear answer about the extra charge because of the language barrier, and we ended up paying more than the amount agreed by email. The pitches were also very small, with people squeezed in close together, so it was noisy and there was little space from the neighbours. On the positive side, the staff were kind and helpful, there were enough toilets and showers, and the hot water worked well.

The lakeside area is nice, though you can't see it from the campsite. The site itself felt like a fire waiting to happen, with tents and motorhomes crowded too close together for safety. There are too many pitches in too little space, and the permanent pitches give it a shanty town feel. The toilets weren't clean and their doors had no locks. Avoid.

Free WiFi, and you can leave. This campsite could be much better with more space between pitches. The men's toilet doors don't lock, so someone barged in while I was using one, which was unpleasant. A French woman also came into the men's showers while I was showering and shouted at everyone. It was bizarre. We woke in the early hours to one of the long term residents clattering around, and the tiger mosquitoes left my body in pain.
