Catalonia Park Putxet Hotel

The pool has amazing views, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and have very comfortable beds. We were welcomed with a glass of bubbly, and the staff were lovely, friendly, and very helpful throughout the weekend. It's not right in the center, but it's easy to get around on foot or by underground. I'd definitely recommend it and hope to come back.

The breakfast buffet was especially good, and I loved the fresh-squeezed orange juice machine. Our room was clean, comfortable, and up to date. The bartender was helpful when I asked about local beer, and the valet who carried our bags and the front desk clerk who checked us in were both great. A nice, quiet stay. I highly recommend it and will definitely book again.

The rooftop pool is a nice extra in warmer weather, a place to cool off after walking Barcelona's hills. Some get good natural light, and depending on the floor you may have partial views of the city or hillside. The décor is standard, but things are generally well maintained. It suits a short city break when you're out exploring most of the time. Catalonia Park Putxet sits on the quieter slopes above Gràcia, with a more residential feel than the busy center. It's slightly elevated, which gives the area a calm feel, while Park Güell and Gràcia's lively streets are still easy to reach on foot or with a short metro ride. The hotel offers good location, value, and function for travelers who don't need charm or luxury, and works well as a base away from the busiest streets. Service is professional and efficient, more practical than personal. The common areas are simple but do the job. Breakfast is reliable and convenient, with continental and hot buffet choices, though nothing especially memorable. Nearby Putxet and Gràcia have bakeries, cafés, and local restaurants that are generally more interesting than the immediate surroundings.

We had no problems during our stay, and the hotel even stored our bags on the last day so we could see more of the city. Rooms were nice and clean, with fresh sheets and pillowcases and daily cleaning. You can order food or drinks at the rooftop pool or just sunbathe, and room service is available too. The gym is fairly small, with a sauna, but it's fine for what you need on holiday. Check-in was smooth, and the receptionist was really friendly. The restaurant served good food, the staff were very welcoming, and breakfast was great. Rahy, the valet, was friendly and helpful throughout. I'd definitely recommend the hotel and will visit again.
