Hostal Atlanta

Even though we arrived at 1 a.m., someone at the hotel stayed up to welcome us and hand over the key, which was lovely. The room was neat and decent, with its own toilet and shower. Olly was very kind and offered to look after our luggage if we wanted to visit the city again or swim before leaving. We could also shower after swimming. Really nice service!

It’s a cheap hotel in a handy spot right by the bus. The rooms are basic but fair for the price. What really shocked us was a cleaner walking into our room in the morning without knocking while we were still in bed.

We found the hotel very clean, with good facilities, including a kitchen downstairs. It’s close to shops and the beach, too. Olie gave us superb service, was informative, and helped us with everything. We’d happily come back and highly recommend it.

After a long flight, I ended up taking a very small room because I felt I had no choice. I’d booked and paid for a deluxe room, but the man at reception, who was British, said he’d entered the wrong price online. That didn’t make sense to me since I had already paid for the deluxe. When I asked why, he shouted that he could give me my money back if I didn’t want the room, then walked away. We didn’t enjoy the holiday, and the area was only half the size of the one we’d booked. I really don’t recommend this hostel.
