They don't seem to keep an accurate record of which rooms are available. The property was overbooked, and they tried to get me to cancel, which would have cost me money. When Booking, a third party, tried to contact the hotel, nobody answered. After reading the response, I want to clarify that I wasn't a guest there, and I wouldn't want to stay with people who don't follow the law. Rooms were listed online even though they apparently weren't available, suggesting they don't track availability properly. When I called and asked them to cancel, they told me to cancel myself and said everything would be fine. That would have made it look as if I no longer wanted the room, and I would have lost the full amount. I used to work in the hotel industry, so I know they could have cancelled the reservation themselves. They told me they couldn't, which I believe was a lie, since cancelling it was their responsibility. Good luck scamming people.

Its traditional design and cozy atmosphere give the inn an authentic Andalusian character, almost like stepping back in time.

I gave the service just two points because communication was nonexistent. I emailed the property a day before check-in and got no reply. When we arrived, every door was locked and there was nobody there. Since we don't speak Spanish, sorting it out took some nerve.

The ajo blanco, the Spanish cold almond and garlic soup, at Posada del Bandolero in el Borge was the best I've had. The ribeye was delicious too, and the food was beautifully presented with an exceptional selection of vegetables. One of the best restaurants I've eaten at in Spain, with excellent food and service. Highly recommended.

After living in the area for two years, a friend finally brought us to this restaurant. We hadn't tried it before, but we'll be back now. The food was delicious, and both the meat and fish were cooked perfectly. My secreto ibérico was so tasty, and the local white wine we tried was fantastic. The staff were friendly, and the restaurant has lots of interesting historical objects. Well worth a visit.
