The rustic charm, spacious living room, lovely bedrooms, and lighting made the house feel special ❤️. The terrace was great too, though the bad weather meant we couldn't use it. There was a washing machine, and even though the kitchen was small, it had a fairly large fridge and a dishwasher. Appliances included a microwave, capsule coffee maker, kettle, toaster, and oven 👍. Cooking was tricky because the pots and pans were practically unusable ☹️. Maybe previous guests hadn't looked after them, but that's not something future guests should have to deal with. We also couldn't find anything to wipe down the surfaces, so we used paper towels, which created more waste than we'd like. I hope they improve these things. Still, it's a lovely place for a short holiday by the beautiful beaches, and the R1 line connects well to Barcelona city centre.

The apartment falls well short of basic rental standards. We cleaned and dusted before leaving and took out the rubbish, and we'd only been there four days, so I don't understand what mess we're being blamed for. When I look at the owners' latest response, I feel they're acting in bad faith and trying to save face. There were so many glaring problems that affected our stay: missing or unusable cleaning products and dish towels, games and clean lamps, shelves that weren't straight or securely fixed, drawers that didn't close properly, a broken shutter, windows that wouldn't close, and a dishwasher that didn't work. These aren't the guests' fault. The owners prefer to blame guests, so let them and future guests decide!

The rooftop terrace had a barbecue, table, and sun loungers, and the ground floor had air conditioning. The house is close to the beach, though getting there means going up a steep hill. The bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs and perfectly adequate, but that floor has no air conditioning and gets quite hot. Overall, very good.

The owners were so attentive, and the house felt cozy. It’s close to Barcelona’s center, yet being near the sea makes the area feel peaceful. Highly recommend it.
