We were five couples with children, and the stay was really pleasant. The owners, who run the bakery next door, were incredibly helpful. They let us stay past lunch and supplied firewood and charcoal, along with everything else we needed. The house is fully equipped. If we're back in Ávila, we'll stay here again, even though the town itself feels so empty.
We couldn't leave without trying the suckling pig, and it was delicious, probably the best spot for it in all of Ávila and Segovia. We also visited the little lagoon, full of birds, and the open-air museum. Such a peaceful place to wander around. Everything was fantastic, and we'll be back soon.
The bakery right next door is handy for picking up groceries, and everything there tastes delicious. The place itself is spacious and very well kept, and the owners are friendly and always ready to help.
The owners are lovely, down-to-earth people, and the service and value for the price left us very satisfied. The house was spotless, comfortable, and cozy, with plenty of space and every detail considered. It's equipped with everything you might need. I'd happily come back and recommend it.
