Breakfast was amazing, and the room was spacious with everything we needed. We’ve just had the best couple of days in Motril, staying in a beautiful hotel in a perfect spot, with shops around and only a short walk into town. We’ll definitely be back. The bed and linens were comfortable, and the building and room have a certain old-world charm. Still, the place felt rough and worn, as if it had seen better days, and the room was sparse. There was no fridge, glass or cup, or even a kettle. The shower flooded the bathroom every time, leaving puddles in the middle and making the tiles dangerously slippery. I wanted to like this small hotel, but it felt cold and impersonal. Check-in and checkout were electronic, entry to the hotel and room used an impersonal six-digit code, and breakfast was self-service. I hardly saw anyone.

The house has been renovated beautifully and with great taste. Cristina and Erika were lovely, and the hospitality was superb. Everything was clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was excellent, and it was nice to have a shared lounge with tea and coffee facilities. A pleasant room too, with high ceilings.

The old house has been renovated with great taste, and the location is excellent. Breakfast was complete and well served. The service was superb, with a friendly team always attentive to guests’ needs.
