Els Horts del Palomar

We had a fantastic weekend. The house was well kept, with roomy bedrooms and comfortable beds. There was everything we needed to cook in the kitchen and at the barbecue. The pool is small, but fine for cooling off on a hot day. Definitely recommend it.

The host was so kind, and we had a really comfortable stay. The house looked just like the photos, was very clean, and worked well for a large group. The price also seemed affordable for what you get. We hope we can come back soon!

It’s a very large but very old house, with a pool and barbecue. It gets really hot and damp inside, and water spilling from the pool and the glass around it don’t help. There’s even mold downstairs from the damp under the pool. The fridge is tiny and takes a long time to cool things, and not every room has air conditioning.

The kitchen is small for a house this size, and it’s missing basics like glasses and cups. In the living room, the sofas are an uncomfortable jumble of different shapes and colors, mostly leather. There’s only one small TV for the whole house, so everyone has to vote and accept whatever most people pick. The fridge is too small for the food needed by a group of 17 to 20 and doesn’t keep up with that capacity. Some rooms have a strong damp smell that should be dealt with, and guests should be warned. The beds and bed frames are awful, so don’t expect a good night’s sleep, though the pillows are good. The water comes out very hot and with strong pressure. The village is quiet and pleasant, and the house is quite large. Nearly every room has its own bathroom, although a few are outside. It’s right by the church, and the bells ring often, which gets unpleasant.
