Casa de Vacaciones Mas Del Pi

Dinner cost a little more than I expected for the accommodation, though it was delicious, homemade, and served in generous portions. This is a lovely rural place for anyone who enjoys sharing time with other people. You do need to be open to eating all kinds of things. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

What sticks with me most about Casa Rural del Pí is the smell of old body odour throughout the building. There was also a cockroach on the bathroom wall, a stained bed throw, and black mould on the shower curtain. The windowsill was dirty, with lots of curly hair, and there was an exposed wall socket.

The owner's care stood out. She looked after us throughout the stay and suggested places to visit. We went as a couple for a weekend in February 2026, and the house sits in lovely natural surroundings, with beautiful views from the terrace. Inside, it still feels authentic without seeming neglected. Our room was spacious, bright, and clean enough, and the bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was simple but plentiful, and a very pleasant surprise. We’d also recommend Mas del Pi for a weekend with children, though we weren’t travelling with any.

We came away feeling rested and very comfortable. It was our first visit, and this peaceful, welcoming farmhouse was just the place to switch off from city life. Our dogs were welcome, and there are lovely walks nearby, so it’s a good choice for people who enjoy animals and nature. The rooms were heated, very clean, spacious, and had comfortable beds. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, home-cooked, and generous. Thanks for making us feel so at home. We found the place through a Smartbox voucher, and the service was excellent.
