This family-run guest house is in a beautiful historic building in the riverfront district of El Puerto de Santa Maria, and it gave us the warm, traditional Spanish hospitality we were hoping for. If you want the usual tourist or chain hotel experience, this probably isn't the place. For a welcoming Spanish stay, you're gonna love it.

The room was clean, and the location was nice, close to restaurants and the station. But the mattress was very hard and uncomfortable, and I wouldn't stay again. I had booked a room with a river view and balcony, but got one facing a patio with no view or balcony. The owner said there was a festival in town, this room would be quieter, and nothing else was available. I didn't like it, but what could I do?

10/10
We were only there for one night, and the room was clean, comfortable and quiet, even though the hotel is just at the edge of the town's bar and restaurant area. The father and son who manage it had loads of useful local information and made excellent suggestions for places to eat and drink. Bar Er Beti was a standout, the best tapas bar we've ever been to. A very welcoming, efficient hotel.

A clean place with friendly staff, near the historic center and an inexpensive parking area.
