Hotel Dunas - Puerto

We had a friendly welcome, and our room was cleaned every day, with the beds made and fresh towels. The breakfast was basic but good value, and the only thing we missed was a small fridge in the room. It's a dog-friendly place, which matters to us, and we'll definitely return. Set in a beautiful nature reserve, the property has spacious bungalow rooms with roomy bathrooms, a large parking area and a nice pool with a bar. The pool was closed because it was still winter. There's a lot of upkeep around the grounds, and the gardens look beautiful.

It’s a great value for money, and I’d highly recommend it. The property is spotless, the rooms have their own entrances, and pets are allowed. The room is basic but has everything you need, including air conditioning that works well. There are two car parks, and the pool is gorgeous, a good size and well maintained, with a lovely garden around it. A very nice, clean hotel.

The food was good, nothing special, but it tasted nice, and the service was good. Most of the staff were accommodating, though one waiter spoiled things for the rest. We enjoyed a quiet, relaxing stay. This is a budget hotel, and I think a lot of the reviews here are unreasonable. It's clean, with immaculate, well-kept gardens. It's quiet on the edge of town by the woods, with a huge beach close by that offers safe bathing. Bars and restaurants are within a 10-minute walk, while the town is a 30-minute walk away.

The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, close to the beach at Puerto de Santa Maria and about 20 minutes from the Old city of Cádiz. It's clean and well maintained, though the rooms are basic and functional. The staff are polite and helpful.
