El Baobab Hostel

We were honestly shocked by how dirty Casa Palacio Sur was. At first it looked decent, but the reception area downstairs was full of flies, which didn't feel like a good sign. We'd booked a three-bedroom apartment and came back later from the Cádiz center ready to rest, only to find worse problems. There was a red spider, hair, and stains on my bedsheet. In the second room, two white bugs crawled out when we lifted the blanket. We had to kill them right away, so there was no chance to take photos. Another red spider turned up on the bed in the third room. The hygiene was beyond poor and unacceptable for a hotel. The cleanliness needs serious improvement. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I had a great two-night stay. The decor makes the apartment feel welcoming, and it was very clean and equipped with everything needed for a perfect visit. Its location is excellent, with good parking by the bullring right next door. I'll definitely come back.

We stayed downstairs a few days ago, and the humidity was intense, especially in the bedrooms and bathroom. At this time of year, I wouldn't choose the ground floor here. The old mansion has well-equipped rooms on both levels, and parking next to the bullring is easy. The amenities are generally good and the price reasonable, though nearby hotels offer better amenities for just a few euros more, and most importantly, no humidity.
