The terrace views of Peña Montesa are the best part. Having breakfast, lunch, and dinner out there was amazing. It’s one of the best rural houses I’ve found for the price, with both air conditioning and heating. The owners live very close and are super attentive. The TV is a bit small at 21 inches, but we barely used it since we were out during the day, and at night we could use our phones, tablets, or laptops. A bath mat in the tub would help prevent accidents. We usually use one of the small towels meant for the bathroom floor. Mosquito nets might also be nice, though we hardly saw any flies or mosquitoes and I’m not sure they’d be needed in warmer months. A small barbecue on the large 16 m2 terrace would be another nice addition. I highly recommend this rural house.

For the price, this is a very good rural house. It has everything you need, plus two less common extras: air conditioning and decent internet for anyone who needs it. The views are stunning, and the terrace is a nice bonus. Although the photos might make it look otherwise, nobody lives downstairs, so you’re on your own.

The owner was very friendly, and we’d definitely return. We stayed in June 2021 and had a wonderful few days exploring the area in complete tranquility. It’s unpretentious and has just what you need. The terrace and views are breathtaking.
