The owner's warmth and kindness really stood out. We stayed a few days last week, and the spacious house was well equipped, with a roomy living area, a table for 16, and a barbecue. The bedrooms were all in good shape, with comfortable beds and their own bathrooms. I'd only suggest putting mosquito screens on the windows.
A peaceful village in Bizkaia, with two easy walking routes starting just outside the house. We spent the weekend there as a group of 16 and found everything clean. The property has about two acres of land, plus a porch and barbecue. Inside, there's a big living room and bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. It was fantastic.
The hostess gets a 10 out of 10 from me. The house is in a lovely, quiet location, though I do wish it weren't so far away. It's one of the best country houses I've seen, with roomy bedrooms and a private bathroom in each. There's a fireplace and heating, two barbecues, including a portable one for indoor use, and a kitchen stocked with utensils and appliances like a blender, toaster, and juicer. We were delighted, it had everything we needed and then some.
Everything was great during our five-night stay in October 2023. We rented half the house. It was well furnished and cared for, and the bedrooms had two 1.05 m beds with firm mattresses.
We were there from August 6th to 12th, and it was a sensational stay. The location was superb, near the Roncal Valley and the Irati Forest. The house is one of the best we've stayed in, with all the amenities in perfect condition.
