The setting was the standout: a beautiful strip of beach right there, an infinity pool with a great view, and we even got lucky enough to see the Milky Way at night. The rooms were beautiful too, with a calm color palette and a chic feel. Breakfast was very nice, but lunch and dinner were average and the menus were much the same. One special cost three times the usual main, so paying €130 for a very average ribeye was a shock. For a resort at this price and quality, the service was inconsistent. Everyone was friendly and patient with my handful of a five-year-old, which I really appreciated, but the attentiveness was terrible. I had to get up and flag someone down many, many times. That shouldn't happen here, and it seems like something that could be fixed easily given how nice the staff are. The beach isn't part of the hotel, so there's no hotel service or loungers there. You have to pay a beach bar or lounger company separately for access to those. Public car parks also break up the sea view a little. It's not the end of the world, just something to know. Great, but not perfect for this price point.

We felt at home and looked after from the moment we arrived. The views and beach were wonderful, the food was great, and the staff were amazing all around. The sense of peace was immediate. Best hotel we've ever stayed at, totally recommended.

We felt welcome and comfortable throughout our stay at Las Dunas Formentera Hotel. It's a short walk to the beach, and the pool was lovely and relaxing. A perfect holiday spot. We'll definitely be back next year!

The staff were so friendly and attentive, and the restaurant by the pool is a lovely place to unwind with sea views. This small resort sits among the sand dunes, just steps from the beach. The rooms are in spacious villas, with warm decor and big bathrooms. A sure bet for a luxury getaway.

The restaurant service was excellent, especially a gentleman with a ponytail who really stood out. The hotel is also in a prime spot, with a beautiful beach nearby. But our one-night stay with my partner got off to a disappointing start: arrival staff were friendly, and we knew the room might not be ready before the 3pm check-in, but even after following up several times we waited past 4pm. The room felt underwhelming for a relatively new five-star hotel, small and with dated details and amenities. When we complained about the delay, we were offered drinks as a gesture. At checkout, though, the receptionist handled it badly, going through the receipts to offset the cheapest possible items, an Aperol Spritz and tonic water, rather than the drinks we'd actually had as promised. It wasn't about the money, it was the attitude. That doesn't feel like genuine five-star service. There are serious improvements to make in consistency and attention to detail.
