The room matched the photos, and we enjoyed staying here. The staff were very kind.

Revolting kitchen, and I could smell pot being smoked. One staff member, not the female staff member or the gentleman with dark hard, was perfectly happy to let another visitor smoke in there. The terrace is taken over by smokers, and the lock on the downstairs bathroom didn't work. Guys were peeing with the door open, which might be fine if you're six years old. If a hostel like a Man Cave sounds good to you, this is the place. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Our first night in the dorm was fine, but for the second night my friend and I moved to private room #1 behind the check-in desk. In the morning we found several bed bugs crawling on the bed. It was alarming and disgusting. We had to leave early for a bus, so we left the owners a note with our contact details. We tried reaching them several times afterward and never heard back. I would NOT recommend this place.

The price is good by Sevilla standards, and it's about a 15-minute walk to both the city centre and bus station, with a small grocery shop nearby. The lockers are nice and big, and towel rental is only .50. Staff were friendly, though the guy running the cafe downstairs is kind of a douchebag. The dorms get hot and humid even in October, WiFi was spotty, and with only one bathroom per floor, around 12 people share one shower and toilet.

The hostel itself is pretty clean, looks nice, and has a great kitchen. But if you're hoping to sleep, go somewhere else. Staff organize parties until 1 am with lots of awkward people who aren't even staying there, and they also allow late check-ins after midnight without caring that people in the dorm are already asleep. The lockers are noisy when you open or close them, so add those to the party noise. If you want to party without regard for the other guests, this place is great. And the Oscar for noisiest hostel goes to ... La Caja Habitada !! Congratulations!
