The dishes looked beautifully put together, with so much care in the details, and the prices felt reasonable for the quality. The waitress was quick and attentive without hovering, and clearly enjoys her work. Everything we ate was delicious. The cannelloni were spectacular, and the picanha came juicy, flavorful, and perfectly medium-rare. Even the natural yogurt was a lovely surprise, simple but so good. We were there today and had an incredible experience. We loved it all and will definitely return.

We started with the grilled pumpkin salad, with arugula, burrata, orange, and vinaigrette, all to share. The flavor combinations were a great surprise. The T-bone was incredibly tender and cooked just right, with a hot stone to finish it to your liking, plus potatoes, peppers, and a small salad. Then came a spectacular passion fruit mille-feuille. The restaurant has a lovely, typical Pyrenees look, and we had a wonderful meal. We’ll definitely come back. Since we were hostel guests, we also got a 10% discount, which made the whole thing feel fantastic.

The place itself is really nice, and being able to eat there with our dog was a lovely touch. The chef also came over personally to apologize, agreed with us, and offered dessert. They didn’t charge us in the end, which we appreciated, and that’s why I’m giving two stars instead of one. The meal was a mess from the start. We ordered the meat rice because it looked like a house specialty, but were told they were out and could only make vegetable rice. As hostel guests, we were then given another menu. After we said what we wanted, they took the menus away and suddenly said they did have meat rice after all. We were surprised, but went ahead since that was what we had planned to order. It arrived at the counter just five minutes later. That speed seemed odd, though we thought it might be fine if it tasted good. It didn’t. The rice was extremely salty and very hard, practically inedible, so I left it untouched. It was one of the worst rice dishes I’ve ever had, if not the worst. The whole thing felt strange, first no rice, then available, and served within minutes.

We’ll definitely be back. The kitchen is superb, and the space has the charm of an old barn. There’s room for a relaxed meal with friends outside on the terrace, or a romantic dinner indoors. The tables are spacious, the local produce has a modern twist, and the service is friendly and attentive.
