The wildlife in the garden was amazing, and there’s a lovely communal kitchen if you want to make your own meals. We were too lazy to use it, though, and had plenty of options in Esporles, a five-minute drive or 20-minute walk away. There’s no lunch or dinner service here. It’s also close to Palma, with beautiful old buildings and mountain views. The rooms are generous and comfortable, the pool is great, and the staff are delightful. Just the place to unwind from the daily grind.

The outdoor kitchen was a highlight for us. We tried local ingredients and made meals to share as a family, looking out over the garden and the view. The beds were comfortable, and the setting among the traumantana mountains was beautiful. This unexpected gem dates back to the 12th century, with its historic charm updated in a hippy chic style. Isabel was especially helpful and kind, and the whole team managing the place were amazing.

A lovely, quiet place to stay, with a nice pool and a very friendly, helpful host. We were walking the GR221 and arrived on foot. The city center is about a 30-minute walk, so that part wasn’t ideal. When our yoghurt disappeared from the communal fridge, they made it up to us with homemade olive oil and sausage. A unique and beautiful spot.

The people made the biggest difference. Isabel and her team were incredible, and we felt at home the whole time. The place itself is a classic rural finca, elegant and simple in a beautiful way. It’s about 10 minutes by car from Mallorca. Thanks so much, Isabel ;)
