Bahia Principe Sunlight San Felipe

The outside areas are lovely and relaxing, and the hotel is clean. Food was nice, with something to suit us each time. The evening waiter service was a real help, and the bar staff were great. A nice touch was having water bottles and refill stations. The entertainment had something for everyone, and Blue made us feel very welcome. We had a great stay and I’d highly recommend the place.

We liked our stay so much a few weeks ago that we came back again. Sitting by the pool in the sun was lovely, and the food selection was really good. The evening shows were fun, especially the trapeze artist. San Felipe hotel is right by the seafront, and there’s lots to see in Tenerife, including the Caldera and Mt Teide. The hotel is a little dated, though it has a lovely relaxed feel. We heard it’s due for refurbishment in the new year, and I hope it keeps its welcoming atmosphere. The staff and location are what make the place. We came to Tenerife for the first time and had such a good holiday that, unusually for us, we’ll be back. Thanks, Tomo and Nic. Our room was spotless, and the restaurant team remembered where we liked to sit and had our table ready. The food was lovely and there was plenty of it. Bar staff were quick to top up drinks and suggest local favourites. Eri and Blu brought loads of charisma to the entertainment and clearly loved their work at the Bahia Principe. We were treated like family from arrival to departure, with staff always willing to help. The sea view is magnificent, and the beach is just across the way. It’s a short walk along the promenade to the fort, passing local amenities.

The location works well for sea views, and town is a short walk away. Entertainment staff were brilliant, always cheerful and getting people involved. Service was good overall, and the serving staff worked really hard. Food tended to be warm instead of hot, and the buffet was quite picked over early, so the speciality restaurants were better. Some diners were as entertaining to watch as the evening shows 🙂
