Ca Na Susi

Our end-of-year lunch for 50 teachers was meant to start at 2 pm, but we weren't served until 4, and didn't finish eating until 6. The menu was supposed to be all-you-can-eat, yet they charged us an extra 5 euros for coffee and a beer. The heat was unbearable, and the pool was dirty and badly maintained, with excessive chlorine and pH. Service was rude and impolite. We can't recommend this place.

It’s a shame, because the place is beautiful, but yesterday’s faculty gathering was poorly organized. There were five other faculty groups there, too. Our meeting was at 1:30 pm, but appetizers didn’t arrive until between 2:30 and 3, salads came at 3:30, and paella at 4. The salads were bland, lightly dressed and meant for sharing. The non-alcoholic menu cost €35, which felt expensive for something tasteless that could have been much better. The delays were huge. It was very hot, and don’t be fooled by talk of shade, the sun was strong. The pool might have been refreshing, but the water was dirty. It was a new venue for everyone in our group, which made it all the more disappointing.

We stayed overnight after a lovely celebration, and had a fantastic time. Susi and the whole team were so friendly and lovely, working tirelessly and still greeting us with warm smiles. It’s a beautiful, well-kept place with a charming rural feel. Susi organized the celebration beautifully and the service was excellent. Highly recommend it.

The pool was filthy, and the meal had already gone badly before that. Our end-of-year celebration turned into a lousy experience with awful service, and the food arrived two hours later than agreed. They brought out two tiny salads for ten people, then took them away after we’d tried them, saying they belonged to another table. We later watched them serve those salads to that table. On arrival we were told we could order anything at the bar. With it at 35 degrees and an average two-hour wait per person, we’d each ordered three drinks. At the end of the meal they asked for another €5 per person, which hadn’t been agreed in the price, and they hadn’t kept track of what we’d consumed. We won’t be back.
