Sara was warm, welcoming, easy to talk to, and one of the kindest people I’ve met. She made my son and me feel at home as soon as we arrived. The house was spotless, well organized, and really comfortable. Our private room and bathroom were immaculate, with extra pillows, blankets, and everything we could need. There’s a cozy living room, a big dining table, and a peaceful backyard where pilgrims can relax, read, stretch, or enjoy the quiet. It feels like an oasis in Zubiri. Laundry was easy, with a washer and dryer plus a good outdoor spot for hang-drying clothes. And the food was unbelievable. Sara cooked one of the best meals I’ve ever had, and my 13-year-old son agreed. Dinner with the other pilgrims made it even more special. I’m resting in Pamplona today, and honestly wish we’d stayed another night. After crossing the bridge into Zubiri, turn right on the main street and walk about half a mile to find this place. It’s absolutely worth it. I’d give it 10 out of 10 stars if I could. Thanks, Sara, for an unforgettable stay. We’ll definitely be back.

The rooms were very clean, and the small number of guests made for a quiet, relaxing stay. The owner, Sara, was incredibly kind, and the food was truly delicious. I’m so grateful for the memorable dinner gathering she organized and the wonderful memories I made with the friends I met there. I highly recommend this hostel. It’s a little off the Camino route, but well worth the detour.

The bathrooms, bedrooms, and shared areas were meticulously clean, with pristine cotton sheets. Sarah is a wonderful host, and her alburgue is full of genuine hospitality. She serves truly wonderful gourmet food and adds a thoughtful touch to everything. The place is about a 10-15 minute walk after you cross the bridge into town. Worth the walk, and make sure to book a room while you can.

There are only 12 beds, so the hostel felt more like a big family and was a great place to spend time with other pilgrims. It was super clean, with comfy bunk beds, and there’s a beautiful backyard, though we couldn’t use it because it was raining. A washer and dryer are available too. Sara is an incredible host, very kind and organized, and an exceptional cook. Dinner felt like eating at a gourmet restaurant. Absolutely amazing stay. We’d give it 6 stars if we could!

We felt lucky to stay here while walking the camino. Sara owns and runs this fabulous hostel, and she’s warm, kind, and efficient. She’s also a magnificent cook, and we all had a beautiful home-cooked five-course meal. She can accommodate dietary issues. The place is spotlessly clean, with a great indoor sitting area and a garden setting out back.
