Ca L'estall

The owners were so attentive and welcoming, and the little house was comfortable, with lovely views and everything looked after down to the details. The countryside around the peaceful village was beautiful and made it easy to switch off. We spent a couple of days there, and the pellet stove kept the house warm and cozy the whole time. We'd happily return!

The surroundings are spectacular, and the apartment is spotless and really cozy, with great views. Such a good place to get away from everything. We'll come back for sure.

It’s a lovely apartment right below the castle, with thoughtful touches. The sunset views are spectacular, and there are books, board games, and a booklet of local hiking routes. Parking is just outside, though the narrow streets can be a bit tricky to drive through, still manageable. We called the owner, who walked us to the parking spot. He was delightful, had lit the pellet stove so we’d arrive to a warm place, and left us eggs and tomatoes for breakfast. We’ll be back!

Gerard, the apartment manager, was really friendly and attentive, and we found the place very clean, with a comfortable bed and a fantastic pellet stove. My partner and I stayed last weekend for the hiking access in the Montsec Mountains. It’s also near Finestres, where you can visit the Great Wall of China and the Congost de Mont-Rebei. The stay was perfect, and I highly recommend it.
