The nostalgia got me. Staying here felt like being a kid in 1990 at my grandparents' place: the wallpaper, old wool blankets, smell, everything straight out of my earliest memories. Who needs windows that close, tiles that stay on the bathroom wall, or a shower door that doesn't fall out when you shut it? And who wants a quiet night without electric humming, crying babies, and grannies coughing out decades of cigarettes? Apparently not me. When I opened my window, I looked straight into the hallway beside me, not outside. What other hotel offers something this unique? I loved it, 10 out of 10, would book again. Move out of the way, Dali, this is real art.

We stayed while travelling from Andalucia to the Vaucluse in SE France. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and service at both reception and the restaurant was perfect. The secure parking opposite was spacious. It's quite a haul from the motorway if you're just stopping overnight, though the hotel is close to a large shopping complex for anyone spending longer in town. We didn't like having a shower over the bath. We're elderly and find it difficult to get in and out.

This isn't even vintage. It looks like something from an old folklorical Spanish Tarantino movie. We only went because there was nothing else available in town.

The rooms are clean and there's a very nice pool open until 10pm, plus a good restaurant onsite. Parking beside the hotel is convenient, and the location in the city isn't bad either. Taking the price into account, I think it's definitely worth staying here and would recommend it if you're visiting this part of Spain. The rooms are outdated, though, and some things in how the hotel runs need improvement. We had to wait a bit too long for our room while the cleaning was finished.

A quiet, peaceful hotel with adequate parking, friendly staff, comfortable beds, and a very clean feel throughout. We really enjoyed our stay and will return. The Menu del dia was excellent value, with large portions, nicely presented and served by lovely, friendly staff.
