The shared areas have a very upscale 70/80's feel, with all the Dali inspierd works, while the rooms themselves are modern. It's clean and very well run, and as we were there in the off-season, the price was very good. A great base for Dali inspierd visits to the town. :)

The breakfast was excellent, the room price was fair, and the room service and cleaning staff were very friendly. But the basic service quality wasn't good. The receptionist, Raul, and the hotel owners were rude from the first contact and didn't seem friendly, as if having a client bothered them. We found ants in the wardrobe and bathroom and had to ask for a room change. They refused, even though the hotel always has one spare room. I also had to ask for a towel change. The rude receptionist told me to bring it to the counter because nobody was available to take it to my room. There were sudden power cuts as well. The car park is very expensive at 20€ a night. In Spain, a night's parking in the centre of the capital generally costs 10 to 12€, so it seems the hotel management wants to make money any way they can, thinking all tourists are very 🤑. I hope management takes this criticism positively and uses it to improve guest satisfaction. Many thanks.

The location worked really well for us. We could walk to all the main points of interest in about 10 minutes, and our large room had a great view of the city centre. Reception is open 24 hours, and the staff were super nice and attentive. They did their best to find solutions for some of our special needs and were very helpful.

The breakfast buffet was great value at 6 euros, with meats, eggs, cheeses, tortilla, pastries, fruit, pretty decent coffee, cereals, yogurt and more. The hotel itself is older, but exceptionally clean and well maintained. Maybe the lowish ranking is because it's not 'modern'. We slept well in a super bed, the hotel was quiet, and everything in the clean bathroom worked as it should. The staff were very helpful, and some spoke English. Exceptional value. We'll return next time we're in Figueres. Granada Vins is just a few steps away, and it's a really nice restaurant with great food and service.
