El Domingo en el Valle

There are barbecues in two areas of the grounds, including a small portable one. One has a table and seats beneath the shade of vines and trees, a lovely spot to eat. The property is huge, with plenty of parking, and nearby there's a river and the village campsite with a swimming pool. The country cottages are incredible and feel peaceful in both winter and summer. You can pick a layout to suit your group, either two bedrooms plus a sofa bed in the living room, or one bedroom and a sofa bed. Every cottage has a fireplace, terrace, equipped kitchen, bathroom, linens, blankets, and more. The host is attentive and happy to respond to questions and requests.

We stayed at El Olivo house over the August bank holiday weekend, and the terrace had incredible views. The house was clean, well located, easy to reach on foot or by car, and had what we needed for a pleasant stay surrounded by nature. We brought our 3-year-old child, who had no problems at all and loved having a huge garden area on the property to run around and play. Ana was amazingly kind and helpful. Thanks for everything, we'll be back!

The surroundings are stunning, and the facilities are fine, but we weren't very comfortable. There were six of us, and we had to set up an extra bed ourselves. They hadn't mentioned that the house was for four people with that extra bed available, so privacy was lacking. The kitchen and decor could use a significant improvement.

The house we stayed in was spotless, with heating, air conditioning, and a fireplace. The houses are fantastic, with barbecues, parking, WiFi, huge terraces, excellent views, and plenty of peace and quiet. The location is great. Jesús, the owner, and his family were wonderful hosts, and Pepa, the cleaning lady, was always on hand to make our stay more enjoyable. We'd gladly return again and again. Highly recommended.
