We went with 10 people after acquaintances recommended it as one of Formentera’s best restaurants, and it lived up to that. The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Chef Sara was especially helpful and communicative, sorting out the dinner and a small surprise for two of our friends. The food brought modern and traditional touches together, mostly with ingredients from the Balearic islands. Everything was delicious: the Islands cheeses and Spinach-Gorgonzola croquetas to start are a MUST. We also loved the Pumpkin Ravioli and Formentera Red Shrimp Carpaccio Rice, which tasted like the sea in one plate. Both the fish and meat mains were delicious, and the desserts were exquisite, especially the Coulant de Pistacho. Dishes average between 20 and 30€, in line with the rest of the island, and we felt the quality more than justified it. The price-to-quality ratio is 10/10. We only wish we’d found it sooner. We recommend it and will come back next time we’re in Formentera.

The hotel has ZERO views, the staff were moody, and the service wasn’t the level of luxury I expected for 550 euro. Eric at the front desk was very rude. He claimed he’d called me many times to leave the room, but he actually called once and said 10 minutes. We left the room after that. Avoid it, and spend more time choosing a luxury hotel on the playa.

The food was just okay, and I expected more after reading the other reviews. The staff were very friendly, though only somewhat attentive. Next door at Five Flowers, the experience was 5 stars, or more if I could give them.

The calamar with ink was our favorite, it felt authentic. The reservation mix-up was funny: I called and got a reservation, but when we arrived they said the kitchen was closed. I reminded them we’d booked, the staff checked, and they ended up accepting us.

A nice range at the breakfast buffet, with made-to-order omlets and crepes, plus sausages, fresh fruit, cheeses, bread, drinks and plenty more.
