Apartamentos la Palmera

We stayed from September 12th to 16th, 2024. The location and pool area were the best parts, a nice place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. A few things affected our comfort and privacy. The room wasn't cleaned during our stay, which wouldn't have bothered us by itself, but we noticed our belongings had been moved while we were out. Food we'd left on the table had been shifted, a package box was gone without any explanation, and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned. Some toiletries also looked as if they had been touched or moved. A little more care with these details would have made the stay much more satisfying.

The apartment was lovely, spotless, and had everything we needed. Towels can be changed daily if you need that. The host was excellent and always available, and there was parking, a pool with enough loungers for all four apartments, and a laundry room with free soap. It's a beautiful, very quiet location where we slept really well. The bedroom has air conditioning that cools the whole apartment. When we arrived, a woman welcomed us at the lighting shop downstairs. She was exceptional, giving us a map of the roads and the most beautiful places to see on El Hierro, as well as places to eat. Without her explanations, we would have missed half the island's beauty. If there were a higher rating, I'd give it, and I'd highly recommend staying here when visiting El Hierro.

A quiet place in a convenient spot in La Frontera, only minutes from the centre.

It's a handy base in the Frontera area for driving around the island, and you can also walk to some restaurants and supermarkets. The woman at reception in the shop downstairs was super friendly and pleasant. Our apartment was spacious and had the basics, but it could be much better with a refresh, especially the bathroom, the shower that's on its last legs, and the furniture.
