Apartamentos Mas de Pau

The drive in is a little rough, with an unpaved, rocky surface, so take extra care in the rain. Once there, though, it’s peaceful and surrounded by nature, with fresh air and a spectacular sky full of stars. The apartments are roomy, cozy, and warm in winter, and the kitchens are fully equipped. Pets are welcome, and there are lovely views of Fuentespalda.

The family who run the place were attentive, and the grounds have plenty for children, including a pool and toys. Our apartment was nicely decorated and well equipped, and the whole setting made it easy to relax in nature with the kids. One thing that could be improved is the access road: it’s rough and unpaved, and the surface could be better. Still, we’d happily recommend it for a family stay.

We’ve already booked to come back in June, which says a lot. My family and I stay in rural houses often, and we all loved this one. There’s so much outside for families: a natural water pool, swings, hammocks, seesaws, a barbecue, a Moorish oven, and a laundry room, all with amazing views. The house itself was spotless, spacious, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. The owners were lovely, and everything was easy to find.

The apartment was so comfortable and thoughtfully equipped that we never felt short of anything, and we really liked the decor. We spent the weekend there with our dogs, surrounded by peaceful, quiet nature. Laura and her husband were super attentive whenever we needed something. Such a great stay!
