The sound of the water is loud, so light sleepers should avoid this place. I loved staying by the river weir, though, and the restaurants downstairs were lively with locals and families in the evening. The owners arranged bag transfers smoothly, at four euros per bag per move. There’s a lift, but reception is unmanned and breakfast isn’t included. It’s about a 5-10 minute walk uphill to the old town and the Camino.

A fantastic place to take a rest day on the Camino. It was clean and comfortable, with kitchen space, a great price, and a spot right on the Camino.

Very clean, roomy lodging with the firm beds I like. The staff were really nice and courteous. It had everything you’d expect for this kind of place, but there was barely any shelf space or any tables, which I mentioned to them.

The place was spotless, and the staff were lovely. I especially enjoyed falling asleep and waking up to the little waterfall outside, since the hotel is right by the river.
