Hotel Indigo Gandia Beach by IHG

We spent two weeks in the premium twin rooms, with their own little area looking out over the pool. The design feels so well thought out. There were plenty of comfy padded sun loungers, and since the hotel is small, there was no need to get up early to claim one. It's a small, comfortable, brand-new hotel right on the beach, with a perfect location, beautiful pool, amazing food, and wonderful staff. Breakfast had a great selection, and you could order what you wanted. I'd include it in the room rate. I've stayed at a few IHG Indigo hotels, and if this is the new standard, I'll try more. I stumbled across Gandia while riding through Spain and stayed an extra night. It was really relaxing, with a perfect room and friendly, professional staff. Highly recommend.

The team were so friendly, and the pool felt like an oasis in the lively city of Gandia. The hotel has just opened and looks incredible, facing the beach. The food was delicious, and the modern rooms have terraces for enjoying the Spanish weather. I'd highly recommend it.

The rooms suit adults better than families with young children, and it's a great spot for a few days of rest. All the staff were warm, genuine, and responsive. David and Silvia gave us a particularly welcoming arrival, explained everything thoroughly, and handled our departure efficiently. In the restaurant, Maria Teresa was a star, so warm and funny, and regularly checked that everyone was looked after. We found breakfast excellent, with plenty of quality choices. It's à la carte, though most items are unlimited, which helps keep things fresh and cut waste. At the time, breakfast cost €23 per person if paid separately, so including it with the room is usually better value. We also tried a few other dishes, including soft, tasty pork belly. This is a new boutique hotel on one level, with a lovely pool area. It's right by the beach and close to cafes, restaurants, ice cream shops, convenience stores, and beach shops. Valencia is just over an hour away. The King Premium rooms face the beach and have furnished outdoor areas. I'd recommend the Queen Premium rooms, which open directly onto the pool area and also have furnished outdoor space. The Queen Standard rooms open onto a hotel walkway by the side street, away from the pool.
